"If a child told me

they wanted to be a dancer, I would tell them to make sure they really love it and want it. This is absolutely necessary! The second is to not get wrapped up in the negativity that so often surrounds you. To block out criticism and stay away from gossip. Keep your personal integrity! Put your head down, work harder than you thought possible, and have a clear vision of the dancer you want to become. Everyone has a opinion, and everyone gives it, and everyone finds ways to tell you what you should being doing differently... If you listen to everyone, you'll no longer be yourself. You'll end up frustrated and confused."
